Product Description

Production area: Montemarano Cru
Grapes: Aglianico 100%
Age of the vineyard: between 20 and 30 years
Vineyard position: South
Soil: clayey, chalky
Altitude: between 400 and 600 m asl
Harvest: early November
Vinification: at controlled temperature (22– 26° C) with long maceration
Ageing: 8 months in stainless steel on lees with frequent batonnage
Bottle ageing: at least 2 months

ORGANOLEPTIC PROPERTIES
Colour: ruby red with violet reflections
Aroma: intense, persistent, characteristic and pleasant with hints of wild violets and black pepper
Flavour: Dry with soft tannins, round. Reminds of red fruit jam. Pleasantly spicy
Food and wine pairing: Any dish with white or red meat. Game, cheese and cured meats.
Serving temperature: 18/20’°C
